Job summary

HealthCARE Express seeks a dependable Paramedic for a Regional Float role across Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood clinics in Arkansas. This PRN position involves float coverage with primarily 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and occasional Saturday hours.

You’ll work at multiple sites based on patient volume and staffing needs. You’ll float with clinic teams, delivering high-quality patient care, taking vital signs, performing EKGs, venipuncture, and assisting with exams and treatments

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic certification required.
• Willingness and ability to travel between Maumelle, Bryant & Sherwood clinics in Arkansas.
• Prior urgent care, EMS, or similar healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care across clinic sites as Regional Float Paramedic.
• Document vital signs, assist with exams and treatments, perform EKGs and venipuncture.
• Start IVs, administer medications within scope, and assist with wound care and minor procedures.
• Support patient flow and maintain confidentiality while keeping clinics running smoothly.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: PRN / As Needed | Primarily 12-Hour Shifts

Float Area: Maumelle, Bryant & Sherwood, Arkansas

HealthCARE Express is looking for a dependable, flexible Paramedic to join our team as a Regional Float Paramedic.

This is a PRN, as-needed position providing clinical coverage at our Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood urgent care clinics. Rather than being assigned to one location, you'll float between clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage.

This is a great fit for a Paramedic who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and is comfortable jumping in wherever support is needed.

Pay & Schedule

• $25.00 per hour
• PRN / as-needed
• Primarily 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Saturday coverage may be needed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Must be willing and able to work at Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood
• Hours and clinic location will vary based on coverage needs

What You'll Be Doing

As a Regional Float Paramedic, you'll work alongside Providers and clinic team members to provide quality patient care and help keep clinic operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities may include obtaining and documenting vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing, administering medications within your scope of practice, starting IVs, assisting with wound care and minor procedures, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

You’ll also work closely with Providers and other team members to support patient flow, maintain patient confidentiality, and step in wherever needed to keep the clinic running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Paramedic who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Strong communication and multitasking skills are important, along with attention to detail and a patient-focused approach.

Applicants must have an active Paramedic certification and be comfortable traveling between all three Arkansas clinic locations. Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, EMS, or similar healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
