Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Paramedic Transport professional for full-time evening shifts (12-hour). This role transports patients between our main hospital and stand-alone Emergency Center locations in Kirby, Voss, and Pearland, providing advanced and basic life support per policy.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of ambulance transport experience, a valid EMT-Paramedic license, Texas driver license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Three years ambulance/transport experience as primary attendant in a pre-hospital setting.
• One year hospital experience preferred.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license and Texas driver license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS and CPI (NV Crisis Intervention) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient transfer of patients and report pertinent information to receiving personnel.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, families and coworkers with customer-service focus.
• Document patient condition and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and comply with safety protocols.
