Job summary

Aims Community College is seeking an Assistant Paramedic Instructor to support the lead instructor in developing recruits to pass the National Registry. You will instruct small groups, evaluate student skills, and assist with equipment setup and training evolutions.

The position requires Colorado Paramedic certification and may require related credentials or an Aims CTE credential. This is a part-time role with campus-based duties and comprehensive benefits for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• Colorado Paramedic certification is required.
• Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Post-secondary vocational credential in Paramedic issued by Aims Community College CTE Office is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct small group sessions to demonstrate skills and coach student skills performance.
• Follow procedures for student evaluation and grading.
• Present didactic instruction as needed; assist with setup/teardown of training evolutions.

Education

Colorado Paramedic certification

Associate’s Degree in a related field

Post-secondary vocational credential in Paramedic issued by Aims Community College CTE Office
