Job summary

AMR is hiring paramedics in California to deliver advanced patient care and coordinate on-scene operations. You will lead the field team, drive on 911 responses, and perform critical EMS interventions with defibrillation, IVs, and monitoring equipment.

Qualified candidates will hold CA paramedic licensure, California driver’s license, and required certifications (CPR, ACLS, PALS/PEPP). Join a company recognized for emergency medical services as part of Global Medical Response.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CA Driver's License required.
Ambulance Driver’s License required (DMV).
Medical Examiner’s Card required.
State Paramedic License (CA) required.
CPR card required (AHA HCP).
ACLS card required (AHA).
PALS card or PEPP required.
ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 training preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
Utilize paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
