Qualifications

• Must hold California paramedic license and current CPR/ACLS/PALS or PEPP cards.
• Valid EMS driving record and driving credentials as required by policy.
• ICS/NIMS training certificates (IS-100B/200B/700A/800B) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action under paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care with defibrillator, monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and reassurance.
• Act as team leader on scene and manage unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
