Qualifications

• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the on-scene team and manage the unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
