Job summary

Global Medical Response in Buffalo, NY is seeking passionate Paramedics for a full-time position. Starting pay for full-time hires begins at $29.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities to provide advanced patient care on EMS calls.

You will assess each call, apply Paramedic protocols, operate defibrillators and monitors, communicate with patients and families, lead scenes when required, drive the ambulance, and collaborate with healthcare and public safety professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver's License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications preferred.
• Clean driving record per company policy.
• Physical Agility Test must be passed.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.

OtherResponsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
