Job summary

West River Health Services in western North Dakota is seeking a Paramedic to deliver patient care during 24-hour shifts, manage assigned personnel, and promote collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include patient assessments, IV/IO administration, timely documentation, and equipment maintenance.

The role requires current ND NREMT-Paramedic licensure, ND driver's license, and BLS/ACLS. On-call duties require rapid response and housing is provided if you live farther than ten minutes

Qualifications

• Active ND NREMT-Paramedic licensure required.
• ND driver's license; BLS, ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments and provide safe care within scope of practice.
• Administer medications and IV/interosseous access as needed.
• Communicate with hospital and physicians en route; provide timely, accurate documentation.
• Restock and maintain ambulance equipment.
• Assist with community and staff education.
