Job summary

OU Medicine is seeking a Paramedic for the South Emergency Department in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will provide emergency services under clinical supervision, handling patient care responsibilities and maintaining communication with healthcare teams.

A Paramedic License in Oklahoma and relevant certifications including BLS and ACLS are required. OU Medicine offers comprehensive benefits including PTO and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hospital and/or pre-hospital experience providing immediate stabilization and transport of sick and injured patients.
• Paramedic License issued by the State of Oklahoma.
• Paramedic Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provides care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Administers medications following established protocols.
• Collects routine laboratory specimens as directed.
