Job summary

American Medical Response, Inc. is hiring Paramedics for overnight and weekend shifts in the Bronx, NY. Starting pay is $32.73 per hour and up, with additional sign-on bonuses for full-time and part-time roles.

Responsibilities include leading scene management, delivering advanced patient care, and collaborating with medical and public safety teams. Minimum qualifications include a state paramedic license, NYC REMAC, valid driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS plus NREMT-Paramedic certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License and NYC REMAC certification required.
• Valid State Driver’s License and driving record compliant with policy.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action under protocol.
• Use EMS equipment to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and families about care.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with health and public safety personnel.
