Job summary

Baxter Health in Salem, AR is seeking an EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our emergency services team. The Paramedic provides BLS & ALS care, including CPR, AED, IVs, medications, and advanced airway management to stabilize patients. Maintains ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications and documents care per EMS directives.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and an accredited EMT-P program with state licensure. Prior experience is preferred; training available. PRN, varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of accredited EMT-P program and maintains national and state licenses.
• Current Arkansas EMT-P license in good standing; CPR, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS and ALS care including CPR, AED, ventilation, IV administration and medication management.
• Advanced airway management including RSI procedures and ACLS/PALS/PHTLS support.
• Document all aspects of care and operate ambulance during shifts.
