Aufgaben

• Respond to requests for paramedic level services from areas within the emergency department.
• Complete documentation and records according to department policy.
• Ensure emergency preparedness equipment is ready for response.
• Restock emergency department and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Assist with code and critical care patients within the emergency department.
• Provide supervision and support under nursing direction as trained.
• Assist charge nurse in assessing and prioritizing patient flow and reassessment.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab specimen labeling for inpatients and ER.
• Participate in required department safety education and training.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics and wear identification while on duty.
