Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR seeks an EMT-Paramedic to deliver high-level EMS care, including ACLS and PALS, while maintaining certifications and documentation for each patient encounter. You will operate an ambulance, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with medical staff to stabilize and transport patients.

The role requires Arkansas EMT‑P licensure, CPR/AHA ACLS/PALS/PHTLS, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited EMT‑P program with national/state licenses.
• Current Arkansas EMT‑P license in good standing and CPR/ACLS/PALS/PHTLS certifications.
• Must possess valid Class D driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS/ALS care including CPR, AED, ventilation, IVs, medications, and advanced airway management.
• Document all patient care and operate EMS equipment during transport to facilities.
• Operate ambulance in various conditions and follow medical director/service manager instructions.
• Maintain certifications and cooperate with other responders to ensure patient safety.
