Job summary

Mercy Perry is seeking a PRN Paramedic to join our Emergency Medical Services team. You will perform direct patient care, including assessment, stabilization and transport of patients according to Mercy protocols and standards.

Applicants must hold a Paramedic (EMT-P) license, be at least 19, and meet Hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire, and PALS within 6 months. ITLS is preferred; physical requirements are substantial and fitness testing is required.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license required by state of practice.
• Hazmat awareness, ACLS on hire, PALS within 6 months.
• Must be 19+ years old and physically capable for EMS duties.
• Preferred ITLS or equivalent training.
• Background in Emergency Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, stabilization and transport.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and access patients in challenging terrains.
• Maintain equipment and complete clerical duties as needed.
