Job summary

Mercy in Carthage is seeking a PRN Paramedic to provide critical patient care under the direction of the Medical Director. Responsibilities include assessment, stabilization, and transport of patients, as well as clerical duties. Candidates should hold a valid EMT-P license and possess strong physical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Paramedic (EMT-P) valid for Missouri.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Hazmat awareness level training and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in emergency situations.
• Assess and stabilize patients for transport.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as needed.

Skills

Ability to perform strenuous physical requirements (CPR, lifting)

Correctable vision for day and night operation

Effective verbal communication in stressful situations
