St. Francis is NOW HIRING!! Join our Emergency Department as a PRN Paramedic!!

This position is PRN, working 7am to 7pm based on your availability and department needs.

As a Paramedic in the ED, you will:

• Respond to calls for emergency medical services and provide patient care as directed and/or determined necessary.
• Perform a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physician in rendering patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with nursing station duties, including administrative and customer-service related tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or GED required.
• Georgia State or National Registry Paramedic Certification required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Paramedic experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
