La mission implique de travailler sous la direction d'un médecin d'urgence et de respecter les protocoles médicaux EMS. Les candidats doivent avoir des licences et certifications valides, ainsi qu'une forte capacité de communication.

Qualifications

• Licences en tant que paramédic par le Kentucky Board of EMS.
• Certifications ACLS, PALS, et BLS valides.
• Excellentes compétences en communication.

Responsibilities

• Fournir des soins de soutien avancés aux patients malades et/ou blessés.
• Assurer la conformité aux politiques hospitalières et au champ de pratique des paramédics.
• Administrer des soins directs sous la direction de médecins et d'infirmières praticiennes.

Paramedic - Ambulance Services

PRN - Variance in schedule/as needed

Job Description:

• Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured.

• Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician's assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS medical protocols if transporting a patient.

• Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Licensure by the Kentucky Board of EMS

• Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License

• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) through the American Heart Association

• Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certifications (PALS) through the American Heart Association. This may be acquired within 90 days of employment.

• Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association

• Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS

• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
