Job summary

CSL Vifor's donor center seeks a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and to provide emergency medical care for donors and staff. Qualifications

• Must have completed paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school, or naturopathic medical training program.
• If grad from a foreign medical school, must be licensed as physician or certified as an EMT in state of application.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant healthcare experience.
• Experience in plasma/whole blood collection center or regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures under general supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff including administering medications per licensure.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine donation suitability.
• In conjunction with the Center Medical Director, respond to medically related questions and provide information on donor suitability.
