Job summary

Clay County Hospital in Illinois seeks a Paramedic for PRN shifts to provide basic care and comfort for patients in the ER and pre-hospital setting. You will work with the ER physician, paramedics, EMTs, and RN staff to ensure quality patient care.

Job description

Provides a variety of basic care needs and comfort measures for patients in the ER and pre-hospital setting. Adheres to the State of IL EMS Systems Act (210 ILCS50) as well as any applicable EMS region 5 regulation and policies. Works with the ER Physician, Paramedics, EMT, and RN staff.

Varied Shifts. Pay begins at $28.67 and increases with experience.

High School plus specialized Training. Current license with State of IL Paramedic, ACLS, PALS, CPR required.

Role is for a PRN status, meaning it is an as needed job to fill open shifts when full time employees are off the schedule. PRN roles will have an additional 5% added to the base pay in lieu of benefits. CCH requires PRN employees to work a minimum of 2 shifts a month to maintain a PRN status.
