We are seeking candidates interested in rural, community based EMS.
GENERAL OVERVIEW Provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured patients in the pre-hospital environment; effectively communicates with all persons and departments involved in the administration of Emergency Medical Care.
Minimum High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
For Prehospital Response Unit: 5 years’ relevant experience and current preceptor status medical command eligible PA certification as Paramedic or EMS Compact privilege to practice in Pennsylvania at the paramedic level or licensed PA PHRN. Preferred Basic Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Haz‑Mat Technician. IC 100, 200 and IS 700, 800, ABLS and ASLS One year experience (AHN EMS).
