Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104 is seeking a Paramedic for a part-time night shift (2x per week, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, EMT-P and LP upon hire, ACLS/BCLS, PALS within 60 days, and CPI training within 60 days. Join a fast-paced team delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3 months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship; 1 year preferred.
  • EMT-P and LP required upon hire; ACLS and BCLS required.
  • PALS within 60 days; CPI training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to patients' needs, ensure privacy, safety and infection control.
  • Provide safe patient care under physician delegation and competency sign-off.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all health care team members.
  • Participate in Shared Governance and stay informed on changes.
  • Pursue evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
  • Deliver daily care to meet core measures and metrics.

Work location:

Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104.



Work hours:

2x night shifts per week part-time, 7:00PM-7:00AM and includes rotating weekends and holidays.



Here’s What You Need

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.


Experience: Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required. One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.



Licenses and Certifications

EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required


LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required


ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required, BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.


PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.


CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.



Skills

Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
