Pafford Emergency Medical Services seeks a highly skilled paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support and coordinate care in emergency scenes across our coverage area.
The role requires ACLS/PALS, licensure, teamwork with EMS and hospital staff, and the ability to drive and operate ambulances while maintaining professional care and accurate documentation.
You will train and lead other responders, follow protocols, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in dynamic pre-hospital settings.

Additionally, incumbents must maintain a high degree of academic and practical knowledge in emergency para-medicine , and must attend sufficient continuing education classes, courses and seminars both on and off dut y to maintain annual paramedic certification, as required by the state in which you will be working.
The work requires the incumbent to operate emergency medica l vehicles , move medica l equipment and extract injured persons from a wide variety of situations. Situation can in vo l ve veh i cular, industrial and residential accidents, injurie s or illn ess and occ ur anywhere in our coverage area. At times the work requires mov e m ent over various types of terrain , (hilly , steep, rocky, rough, and/or wet/s li ppery surfaces). The incumbent always must be able to carry or help carry someone from the site of the injury to the mode of transportation (vehicle/helicopter) and attend the injured party to the hospital. In order to perform a physical assessment of the injured party, the incumbent must see, hear and communicate wi t h the injured party.
Param ed ic s wi ll be i ss ued and must wear Company issued uniforms while o n duty;additionally,Paramedicswillberesponsible forthemaintenanceand cleaningofuniforms,as wellas allissuedequipment.
Paramedics arerequiredto carry a Companyissuedpager/radio at alltimesinorder toreceiveimmediatenotificationof an assignment.
