Job summary

Amerimed in Buford, GA is seeking EMT-B/I/AEMT or Paramedic to respond to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, provide medical care, and transport patients safely to destinations and back home.

The role offers Full Time, Part Time/PRN options with 12-hour shifts, built-in overtime, pay incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, disability, life insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, certification renewal, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid State and/or NREMT EMT license at EMT-B, I, AEMT or Paramedic level.
• Current CPR card.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain EMT-B, I, AEMT or Paramedic certification as required by the State and/or NREMT.
• Maintain a current CPR card.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Maintain assigned ambulance in a ready state for non-emergency and emergency calls.
• Respond appropriately to dispatched calls and render appropriate medical care under protocols.
• Demonstrate ability to work with internal staff and external customers.
• Perform other tasks as needed; shifts may vary by location.
