Job summary

Global Medical Response (AMR) is hiring Paramedics passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our customers. Starting pay is $32.73 per hour and up, with additional bonuses for full-time and part-time hires.

Responsibilities include leading the Paramedic crew on scene, administering advanced medical care with defibrillators and monitors, and driving ambulances on 911 responses. This role emphasizes teamwork and professional collaboration across public safety and healthcare

Qualifications

• Paramedic license required (NY State)
• State driver’s license
• Nassau/Suffolk REMAC credentials
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Clean driving record and ability to pass agility test
• Some healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Starting pay is $32.73 per hour and up depending on years of experience!

$5K Sign-On Bonus for FT hires and $2.5K Sign-On Bonus for PT hires (paid over 6 months)!

Referral Bonus- employees will receive $5k for referring a FT Paramedic or $2.5k for a PT Paramedic (terms and conditions apply*)

We’re hiring Paramcics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• NY State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• Nassau and Suffolk REMACcredentials
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
