Job summary

Memorial Hermann MHMG Onsite Clinic in Alvin seeks a Paramedic to deliver medical care under the supervision of a medical director, ensuring high-quality care for emergency patients during night shifts with rotating weekends.

The role requires completion of a paramedic program, TX licensure or EMT-P, and BLS/ACLS/PALS within 6 months, along with 1+ year paramedic experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a Paramedic training program and required hospital and/or field training
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS/BTLS/ACLS/PALS within 6 months; Paramedic license or EMT-P in TX
• Experience/Knowledge/Skills: 1 year minimum paramedic experience; strong communication; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift; on-call duties as required by operations

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care under supervision of medical director.
• Treats emergency patients and performs procedures listed in Skills Inventory.
• Responds to site emergencies and provides medical treatment within scope.
• Performs duties like inventory, equipment calibration, pre-employment testing (audiograms, EKGs, etc).
• Documents in Emergency Center records and provides discharge information.
• Trains staff on charge capture and clinical documentation.
• Ensures safe care for patients, staff and visitors; adheres to Memorial Hermann policies.
• Supports professional growth and acts as mentor to junior staff.
• Models Memorial Hermann service standards: safe, caring, personalized care.
