MercyOne Waterloo is hiring a Paramedic for full-time night shift to join MercyOne Health System. You will provide outcome-based care under the supervision of a registered nurse or ED providers, while monitoring patient responses to interventions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ambulance or emergency room experience.
• Current Iowa EMT-P/CCP certification.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• PHTLS highly recommended.
• Mandatory Reporter.
• NVCI within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide outcome/goal-based nursing care under RN supervision.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient observations.
• Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
• Communicate relevant clinical information to the team to optimize outcomes.
