Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a skilled Paramedic to deliver mobile integrated health and pre-hospital care in the EMS division. The role includes responding to requests, on-scene leadership, and collaboration with hospital teams, with opportunities across full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules.

Qualified candidates will hold EMT-P with ACLS/BLS, a valid MA driver’s license, and be prepared to work within protocol-driven environments and EPIC-based documentation.

Qualifications

• Pre-hospital care experience in emergencies; ALS transfers preferred.
• Valid Driver's License (Massachusetts) required.
• EMT-P, ACLS and BLS certifications required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Respond to paramedic requests from area departments promptly and safely.
• Complete documentation and run reports accurately.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and equipment within set schedules.
• Provide pre-hospital care at paramedic level per protocols and medical control orders.
• Assist ED physicians and other staff in hospital settings as needed.
• Lead on-scene coordination during emergencies and direct EMTs.
