Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking Paramedics to join its EMS Division and Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program in Massachusetts. The role supports pre-hospital care, follows Paramedic Protocols, and collaborates with hospital teams in the MIH and “Hospital at Home” initiatives using EPIC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-P, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Prior pre-hospital care experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for paramedic services in a timely and safe manner.
• Completes run reports and documents accurately in the computer database.
• Ensures vehicle and equipment ready for response at all times.
• Provides pre-hospital medical care at the paramedic level per protocols and medical control.
• Assists in hospital settings and Hospital at Home initiatives using EPIC.
• Maintains certifications and participates in team huddles and community EMS activities.
