Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Paramedic to perform field medical transport under the Medical Transport Supervisor. You will provide stabilization and care for diverse patient ages, following state and NGHS guidelines.

You must hold GA paramedic licensure with ACLS/PALS, a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and defensive driving, and be prepared for 12-hour shifts on an ambulance unit.

Qualifications

• State certification as Paramedic (GA) and scope of practice.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Follow NGHS and Medical Transport protocols and policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fueling, and stock levels at all times.
• Operate emergency vehicle safely and legally per regulations.
• Maintain all equipment on vehicle and retrieve items after hospital drop-off.
• Complete all paperwork accurately before the end of each shift.
• Communicate per Medical Transport policies and procedures.
