Job summary

Qualifications

• State licensure as Paramedic and certifications ACLS and PALS.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification and defensive driving course required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable departmental and hospital regulations and protocols.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of pre-hospital care and advanced level practice.
• Keeps emergency vehicle clean, fueled and stocked at all times.
• Operates emergency vehicle safely and professionally and adheres to laws.
• Maintains all equipment on vehicle and retrieves equipment left at hospital.
• Dresses in appropriate uniform as directed by NGHS policies.
• Ensures paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
• Communicates verbally in accordance with Medical Transport and NGHS policies.
