Healthcare Express in Longview, TX is seeking a full-time Paramedic to join our urgent care team. The role involves hands-on patient care in a fast-paced setting, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing, and starting IVs as needed.

You will work 12-hour shifts, some Saturdays, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, and more. New hires complete a four-day training in Texarkana, Texas.

Qualifications

• Licensed Paramedic in Texas
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Paramedic, you'll work alongside our providers to care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Your day may include obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing, administering medications within your scope of practice, starting IVs, assisting with wound care and minor procedures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

You'll also work closely with providers and the rest of the clinic team to keep things running smoothly and provide a great experience for our patients.
