Healthcare Express in Longview, TX is seeking a full-time Paramedic to join our urgent care team. The role involves hands-on patient care in a fast-paced setting, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing, and starting IVs as needed.

You will work 12-hour shifts, some Saturdays, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, and more. New hires complete a four-day training in Texarkana, Texas.

Qualifications

• Licensed Paramedic in Texas
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in urgent care or EMS setting

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for exams and treatments.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing.
• Administer medications within scope of practice and start IVs.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and coordinate with providers.
