Qualifications

• Paramedic license current with Kentucky Board of EMS.
• CPR, PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ with background check.

Responsibilities

• Check unit daily for mechanical adjustments and restock supplies.
• Clean and maintain ambulance units and living areas.
• Answer ambulance calls and maintain EMS credentials.
• Establish patient airway and admin intermittent positive-pressure ventilation.
• Administer IV therapy, drug administration and monitor infusions.
• Perform CPR, defibrillation, care for shock and bleeding.
• Provide obstetrical assistance and newborn care; manage births if needed.
• Complete PCR/PCS and other forms after each run; document findings.
