Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring paramedics who deliver high-quality patient care and operate under progressive Paramedic protocols. You will assess calls, use advanced equipment, and lead on-scene operations while collaborating with health and safety teams.

The role requires a state paramedic license, trauma/BL S-ACLS-NREMT credentials, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a physical agility test. Training and shift differentials are included.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• PHTLS or trauma certification required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• Driving record must be in good standing.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
