Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA, seeks an experienced EMS Supervisor/Paramedic to manage daily EMS operations, ensure quality patient care, and support staff development. You provide direct patient care at paramedic level as required and coordinate with the unit manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years in busy 911 system; EMS leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining policies and procedures per regulations.
• Ensure standards of care align with Pennsylvania protocols and evidence-based research.
• Use data to drive improvement in patient care and experience.
• Lead performance feedback and coaching to promote accountability.
• Provide direct patient care at the paramedic level when required.
• Coordinate orientation and competency for EMS staff with unit managers.
• Ensure care aligns with system goals and regulatory and financial targets.
• Respond to EMS calls and operate emergency vehicles with due regard for safety.
