WellSpan Health is seeking a qualified EMS professional to respond to emergency calls and provide advanced patient care in accordance with PA DOH EMS Act and scope of practice.

The role includes preparing patients for procedures, administering IV fluids, and delivering health education to patients and families. Responsibilities emphasize safety, documentation, and ongoing education within a team-centered environment.

Qualifications

Requires High School diploma or GED.
Paramedic certification required upon hire; R.N. certification accepted.
BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire; EVOC training also required.
Must possess valid driver’s license and meet risk management standards.
Course work in EMS operations and NIMS training as listed.

Responsibilities

Respond to EMS calls and operate an emergency vehicle with safety.
Prepare, hang, monitor, and administer IV fluids.
Provide health care instruction to patients and families.
Prepare patients for procedures and assist in assessments.
Respond to emergency calls as a single Advanced Life Support Provider.
