The position requires AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications, Nationally Registered Paramedic in good standing, at least 3 years ALS experience, and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications.
• Nationally Registered Paramedic in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years current ALS experience.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications.
• Minimum of an associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Preparing classroom or training areas and pick-up and return of training devices, as needed.
• Performing basic maintenance on training aids and/or equipment as needed.
• Preparing and conducting to College instructional standards classroom, laboratory, seminar, conference, discussion, lecture, demonstration, and practical exercises per class training schedule.
• Supplementing the course curriculum and lesson plans by incorporating lessons learned from specific/relevant training and after-action reviews, doctrine, and current and evolving Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures ( TTP ) into the daily instruction.
• Being available for occasional course classes held in the local area.
• Attending trainings as required by the Program Director on the use of training aides, such as high fidelity manikin, ultrasound, and ventilators used to educate students.
• Attending occasional staff meetings throughout the year.
