Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current NM Driver's License (Out of State candidates must obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Maintain driving record insurable by Presbyterian policy.
• Must pass physical abilities assessment.
• State of New Mexico Paramedic license in good standing.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Must obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of onboarding and maintain.
• EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital emergency care and transport for injured and/or ill patients.
• Delivers care utilizing standing guidelines and on-line medical direction.
• Maintains documentation of patient care using current systems.
• Operates emergency vehicles safely and adheres to EVOC/defensive driving.
• Collaborates with ED physicians, medical direction, and teams to ensure continuity of care.
