Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Health Services Coordinator with paramedic expertise to manage emergency medical services on campus. You will assess patients, administer care, and coordinate with Campus Police and medical control to ensure rapid, compliant responses.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and records, administering naloxone when indicated, and supporting prevention programs, safety reporting, and compliance with OSHA and college policies.

Qualificações

• Associate degree from an accredited college in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, Health Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Successful completion of a state approved Paramedic education program.
• Current National Registry Paramedic certification and current Louisiana Paramedic license; applicable training and compliance per College protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emergency medical assessment and care to students, employees, visitors, and others on Delgado Community College property within paramedic scope and college protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies in coordination with Campus Police; administer naloxone when indicated and authorized.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment, medications, naloxone supplies, and documentation; ensure AED readiness and maintenance.
