Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 is seeking a Community Medicine Coordinator - Paramedic to support Operations, Training, and Administrative staff.

You will track high utilizers, assess patient needs, and implement care plans for acute and chronic illnesses while coordinating with regional resources and educating patients, families, and communities. The role also leads the District's ALS Training System, provides naloxone education, and collaborates with law enforcement, fire

Qualifications

• Must hold paramedic certification and state licensure.
• Associate degree in EMS or public health or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a 911 service delivery system.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergent and nonemergent EMS cases within district protocols.
• Track system utilizers and connect with resources to reduce EMS use.
• Lead ALS Training System and coordinate trainings.
• Provide naloxone education and distribute kits to at‑risk individuals.
• Maintain patient records and develop care plans with teams.
