Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time opportunity in the United States. You will assess each call, provide advanced medical care, and lead the Paramedic team on 911 responses. This role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments.

Minimum qualifications include a State Paramedic License, a valid Driver’s License, and BLS/ACLS with NREMT-Paramedic certification. A clean driving record is required, and hours start at $21.50 per hour with DOE.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State Paramedic License.
State Driver’s License.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
Clean driving record and ability to pass agility test.
Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess call situations and determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
