Job summary

Milwaukee ER & Hospital is seeking a licensed EMT-P Paramedic to provide patient care, monitor vitals, and observe patients for changes. The role is full-time as a float, covering evening [14:00 - 02:00] and night [18:00 - 06:00] shifts.

You will work under the RN or physician, perform IV placements, labs, and administer medications per state guidelines. Essential qualifications include 2 years Paramedic experience, 1 year Critical Care, current EMT-P license, PALS/ACLS, and BLS CPR.

Qualifications

• Two years of Paramedic experience and one year of Critical Care experience.
• Licensed EMT-P with current license in good standing (PALS/ACLS/BLS).
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record systems.

Responsibilities

• Take delegation from the primary RN or physician on duty.
• Perform IV placement and monitor patient vitals.
• Operate lab equipment and perform point-of-care testing.
• Administer medications per state guidelines and document care.
• Monitor, restock supplies and maintain certifications.
