Job summary

Responsibilities include administering medications under supervision, recording diagnostic measures, monitoring patient status, and maintaining certifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of Paramedic experience.
• One year of Critical Care experience.
• Licensed EMT-P with current license.
• PALS, ACLS, Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Takes delegation from the primary RN or physician on duty.
• IV placement and monitoring.
• Operate point-of-care testing and maintain quality controls.
• Coordinate patient workflow and report changes to the nurse.
• Administer medications per protocol and monitor vital signs.
• Record diagnostic measures and treatments performed.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Placement of splints and maintain certifications.
