Job summary

Mercy EMS Springfield is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to provide direct patient care in emergencies, assess and stabilize patients, access difficult terrain, and transport to appropriate destinations. You will uphold Mercy protocols and collaborate with medical directors and EMS teams.

A full-time role (42 hours/week) with benefits, sign-on bonus, and opportunities to grow within Mercy. Requirements include Paramedic (EMT-P) license, ACLS, PALS within 6 months, and ITLS preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Paramedic license (EMT-P) required by state practice.
• ACLS certification required at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• ITLS or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and evaluation.
• Access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients as needed.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned.
