The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full‑time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part‑time).

Pay Range: $31.07 - $40.60 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

Position Overview Performs basic and advanced patient assessment and provides life support services to ensure patient care occurs at the scene and on route to the hospital. Identifies situations that require immediate intervention. Implements prescribed or delegated emergency measures safely, rapidly, and accurately. Validates the appropriateness of unusual medical control orders and functions as a patient advocate to assure medical control is aware of the patients present condition. As a field taining officer, provides clinical oversight to new employees and paramedic students assigned to them. Acts as the quality and clinical resource for the providers on their tour.
