Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a Paramedic I to join our imaging teams. You will perform procedural support, monitor patient safety, and assist with IV access and contrast administration in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Paramedic program, current Texas state license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain). Prior ICU or radiology experience is preferred. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, approved Paramedic program.
• Current Texas State License.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS or willingness to obtain these certifications.
• One year of paramedic experience in EMS service and/or emergency room.
• Two years preferred intensive care or radiology experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily check of supplies and equipment; maintains adequate levels and reorders as necessary.
• Assesses patients to obtain medical history, medications, allergies; complete screening form for contraindications.
• Performs quality assurance of patient schedules; prepares for care, including interventions, labs, preps for sedation, verifies orders.
• Responsible for insertion & removal of IV catheters per policy; assists with injection of contrast material.
• Monitors patient post exam and ensures safety.
