Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a Paramedic to join our imaging team in Texas. You will perform daily checks of supplies and equipment, assess patients for med history and contraindications, and support sedation procedures as needed within the radiology workflow.

Responsibilities include IV catheter insertion/removal, contrast administration assistance, and monitoring post-exam safety. Candidates should have an approved Paramedic program, Texas license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, approved Paramedic program.
• Current Texas State License.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily check of supplies and equipment; maintains adequate levels and reorders as necessary.
• Assesses patients to obtain medical history, medications and allergies; completes screening forms for contraindications.
• Performs quality assurance of patient schedules and prepares for care, including labs, preps for sedation and verifies orders.
• Responsible for insertion & removal of IV catheters on patients per policy.
• Assists with injection of contrast material and monitors patient post exam to ensure safety.
