Job summary

Essentia Health seeks a dedicated EMS professional to provide urgent and non-urgent medical support in pre-hospital and hospital settings. You will assess patients, deliver advanced life support, and coordinate care according to state licensure.

The role requires Paramedic or RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and compliant driving records. Full-time, day/evening shifts with remote options not indicated. Strong teamwork and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• State licensure/certification as a Paramedic or RN to operate as a Paramedic.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire or within 6 months.
• Background check clearance to work with vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls and provides medical support in pre-hospital and hospital environments.
• Assesses patients to determine best course of treatment and provides advanced medical care as needed.
• Operates within State-scope of care and adheres to licensure requirements.
• Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with Essentia Health policies.
