Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Paramedic to deliver quality patient care in out‑of‑hospital settings. You will assess illness or injury, administer emergency care, and transport patients within established guidelines and medical control.

The role includes coordinating with dispatchers and other EMS providers, completing patient care reports, and maintaining equipment and inventories. A valid paramedic license and MN certifications are required, with company-paid training as needed.

Qualifications

Current registration as a Paramedic with the National Registry of EMTs.
Current certification as a Paramedic with the MN EMSRB.
Current AHA BLS certification (instructor or provider) or within 90 days of start date.
Current AHA ACLS certification (instructor or provider) or within 90 days of start date.
State-issued driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

Responds promptly to requests for service.
Assesses the needs of the sick or injured patient.
Provides medical care within the paramedic scope of practice per guidelines.
Works as part of the prehospital care team and communicates patient information to the care team.
