Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minnesota seeks a skilled paramedic to provide advanced life support for ill and injured patients and to transport them safely to medical facilities. The role supports various services and events as directed by the North Memorial Ambulance Service.

The position requires paramedic training, state certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days), and ACLS/BLS certifications. Prior ambulance experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a leading

• Successful completion of a paramedic training program from an accredited institution.
• Associate of Science degree preferred.
• Previous ambulance experience is preferred.
• Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
• American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification, or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days.

About This Position

Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.

Requirements

Education

• Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required.
• Associate of Science degree preferred.

Experience

• Previous ambulance experience preferred.
• Previous advanced life support experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently.
• Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.

Licensure/Certification

Ground Paramedic Requirements

• Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.

State Requirement
